Defender 360’s mission is to deliver unprecedented visual digital experiences which replicate existing physical environments through the live streaming of 360 degree footage to both local and remote operators.
The stand alone technology provides the remote viewer with unlimited capabilities wherein physical presence is no longer required in order to possess and maintain complete Situational Awareness. The live streaming 360 FoV, augmented by deep learning algorithms and precise geo-registration of all assets within the FoV, provides unsurpassed spatial consciousness to local and remote viewers.
The Quantum body worn app converts any smartphone into a wearable camera that streams geo-registered video for enhanced spatial awareness.
The app utilizes the spatial sensors of the smartphone with its' HD camera in order to derive the location and orientation of the phone as well as projecting the video as a 3D geo-tagged video frame.
The app utilizes the precision of a smart phones native capabilities with high definition/wide FoV cameras, state-of-the-art location sensors and audio and haptic feedback. Utilizing the smartphone itself as well as its' inherent high-speed LTE, 4G/5G connectivity and unlimited recording capacity, the Quantum body worn app minimizes the acquisition, operation and sustainment fees associated with other dedicated body worn devices found in the market.
The Quantum 360 Rover Camera live streams 360 degree panoramic video from any ground, sea or air based platform to remote command and control center operators providing unprecedented situational awareness. Adaptive ZipStream video compression optimizes the live streaming of 360 degree footage over the internet and cellular networks due to minimal bandwidth requirements.
The Quantum 360 Rover Camera is a plug and play technology which easily mounts to the hosting platform via a strong magnet, inherent to the unit, and simply plugs into the vehicles 12V auxiliary power outlet or other vehicle power supply port. Other mounting options are available through the universal adapter. An optional NVIDIA GPU allows running deep learning algorithms, on the edge, for object detection and classification in the entire FoV of the camera.
Enhancing safety in the workplace is of paramount importance for manufacturing and industrial facility leaders and workers. Defender has combined our Quantum 360’s capabilities with smart phone and smart watch technologies to create the TagLock werable sensor. The technology utilizes a Samsung smartphone or a smartwatch running the TagLock app while acting as a beacon for the camera to “slew-to-cue”. TagLock is used for visually locating and tracking employees and assets (ie vehicles, machinery) within and outside of facilities. Through Defender’s TagLock technology, safety protocols can be monitored, applied and maintained through an efficient and affordable C2 platform.

Artificial Intelligence in 360 degrees displayed at Verizon's Operation Convergent Response event for First Responders.
Object recognition, classification and tracking in 360 degrees creates new products and capabilities not previously available. As seen in the above video, the camera is trained to recognize the desired object while providing real time coordinates. Combining three optical sensors allows for “optical triangulation” and the precise location and extraction of an airborne objects coordinates in a GPS denied environment.
Artificial Intelligence in 360 degrees displayed at Verizon's Operation Convergent Response event for First Responders {used in this video in order to detect personnel that are in distress}.
360 degree Artificial Intelligence, in combination with 360 vision as utilized for the search and rescue of personnel in distress. The system autonomously recognizes humans, or any other assets in its image recognition library, and provides their precise latitude and longitude coordinates in real time. The video is live streamed as well as recorded and can be played back for post mission analysis and debriefing.
Visually pinpointing assets in real time is crucial during sensitive field operations.
Any smartwatch or smartphone can be utilized as an “ID beacon” or “visual-blue-force-tracker” enabling the Quantum 360 camera to “slew-to-cue” and to provide 'immediate eyes' on all assets. Selecting from the camera's drop down menu, any asset that wears (or carries) the sensor causes the camera's Field of View to immediately turn and center on the assets location as well as tracking the asset until it's either 'de-selected' or another asset is chosen.
